GOAL OF PRENATAL CLASS:

 

The goal of the prenatal yoga classes is to create a community setting through which you can express yourself freely and share the joy and trials of your pregnancy, while taking care of your body. In addition, you will develop strength training and flexibility. Prenatal yoga is safe for  ALL STAGES of pregnancy. The classes are focused on opening the pelvis, strengthening the back to support the extra weight of pregnancy, and building endurance for childbirth. We also practice Pranayama (breath work) which helps calm the mind and spirit.

                 

GOAL OF PARENT AND ME CLASS:

The goal of the Parent and Me yoga classes is to focus on the needs of the new mamas; such as strong core work, energizing yoga, and rejuvenating poses. All done in a space where your baby is welcome to nurse, nap, or play with toys. We involve the babies as weights, have some shared mama-dad/baby poses; and incorporate infant massage.
